The vegetable got it’s name from a combination of the Latin words “caulis” and “flos” which mean “cabbage” and “flower” respectively.

Storage Tips: Store in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator in a loose plastic bag or in a perforated bag.
If storing chopped cauliflower, place in an airtight container with a damp paper towel and put in the crisp drawer of the refrigerator.

Preparation Tips: First, pull leaves off of the base. Then, cut the head in half from the top of the head through the stem. Lay the halves down and cut from the top through the stem. Cut the core out from the 4 pieces of the cauliflower. Pull off the florets. Cook how you desire!
